"The Felt Lady"™     Suzanne Pufpaff Nashville, Michigan January Gallery Show In January 2005, I was invited to be the Artist in Residence at the Forest Hills Fine Art Center in Grand Rapids, MI.  Here are a few photos from that showing. This photo was taken in front of the gallery for the promotional flyer. I am wearing a hand spun shawl with matching felt hat which I created  from my llama, Lazer. The display seen as you enter the center. Another view of the display.   And now for some detail....... Butterfly tote, seamless with side pocket and a butterfly pearched on the handle. Personally designed knitted sweater from hand spun and dyed shetland wool and alpaca. Bear with pearched owl done in a 3-D seamless wet felt. Two monkeys also done in a 3-D seamless wet felt. Birds on a tree stump showing texturing on 3-D wet felting. Tipi Bear all in felt Tree house bear proves that no shape is really impossible with wet felting. Wild Joker part of my Calendar People Collelction Golden Dragon was done as a Christmas Gift for my daughter.  She has silk wings laminated with wool and floral wire.
